Lise Jamieson, PhD

Lise Jamieson is a Senior Researcher at the Health Economics and Epidemiology Research Office (HE2RO), based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She holds a Masters degree in biostatistics and has worked in HIV and tuberculosis research since 2006. Her current interest areas include health economics modelling, with a focus on the long-term impact of HIV prevention and treatment interventions, and translating her research into recommendations for public health policy. Before joining HE2RO, she was based at CAPRISA, working on clinical trials and prospective cohort studies, on topics such as HIV prevention, HIV pathogeneses, antiretroviral therapy and TB treatment outcomes.
